When was an illegal eye poke considered a TKO???!!!

Even though the outcome of Anthony “Rumble” Johnson fight is considered one of UFC’s most bizarre and controversial outcomes, Anthony showed to his fans that he has a lot of class and great sportsmanship.  He gave respect to Kevin Burns and even told the fans booing to show Burns some respect.

HEY JUDGES!!  When did  illegally poking an opponent in the eyes considered a TKO??   Anthony “Rumble” Johnson won both 1st and 2nd rounds on the score cards while getting poked in the eyes numerous times!!  So how does the judges NOT disqualify Burns on the spot after he poked Anthony Johnson’s eye AGAIN in the last round but instead decided it was a TKO???  HUH???

  1. Fish says:

Burns probably should have been DQ’d but I thought the fight was close at that point. To me it appeared that Burns won round 1 with Johnson taking 2 and was leading the 3rd.
